Putting it all together And Tweaking the Animation

Checking to see what works and what doesn't.

I wanted to know which music will fit with the video
Plus we would like to add our company logo into the video.
The Logo

The Animation tweak is that and play with the time and some cars are removed.

3 Type of music. With links.
  1. Police Scanner
  2. Music
  3. Sound Effect
Plus we wanted to put our company logo on the screen. Similar other games and movies. Before the title roles in we would show the company logo. Similar as below. However, we would neglect going into the story and jump straight into the title page.

I put together video.

How I put together the video.
I used a software called Hitfilm to editing the video.
And Youtube Video Downloader to download the Youtube videos.

The Youtube Video Downloader. How it looks. Simple and easy to use.

The more technical side. Hitfilm.

After you add video into the software.
I deleted video and kept the audio of all youtube video downloaded.

To do that, first you need to unlink the video.

The you click on the video track and delete the video.

I did it a few time and got all my video and audio. I used some basic transition effect to make the video more fluid. I cut a video of my previous project so I can add the logo to the video.

After all that I exported the video

By the way it took about 35 minutes to export.

The format of the test footage is such.
  • The company logo
  • A raw improve version of animation [ Less traffic ]
  • The animation with police scanner as audio.
  • The animation with music as audio.
  • The animation with sound effects as audio.
The video is below. Hope you enjoy it. I think I found when I place the logo at the start I failed to remove a few frame from the video I took it from. I could export the video again but it took a long time to export video and the purpose of video is not loss with a few frame added to it.

Looks like the a single background music is simple and effective way to convey the idea of the game. So we should go with a single music for the video.

Horror Atmosphere Part 1

Now I would like to talk about, designing horror. Here is a basic breakdown on horror techniques. Basics Tips and Concepts to Keep in Mind as You Make Your Horror Film This part I will be focusing on the Layout of the game. The game is  PT Demo Mix with Affected . Player will be stuck in a loop and each loop there is objective player need to complete to progress. The Objective could opening the door and pick up a object in a particular room, or there a sequence of triggers the player have to follow to complete the game. For more detail, do contact me. The idea for the game, is that all ages should be able to pick it up and play. I like this approach as the young and old would not be leafed out. I design games primary for all ages. The controls must be simple and intuitive for player to use. The objective and game play must be visible clear and accomplished by many [need my play-test sessions.]. However, do to it being a horror game, player below 12 are not advisable to play.

Placing the Copyright to Title Screen

Understanding the copyright in terms of title screen. See what the past game has written on the title screen in terms of copyright. And also where they past the copyright in the title screen. Some examples below. Seeing this example and many more I have planning to place the copyright at ... And put this wording as the copyright. Logo.@2014 Alt F4.  Note : @ is just tempory replace of the original copyright sign. I did some editing and here is the example. The fonts should be white and background transparent. And and place into the title screen as such. I have 2 version. 1 under the press start or keep it at the side; bottom right.

Education and Career: How to Go about it?

I was asked by parents to advise their kids on which higher education courses to pursue, which is in line with establishing their career paths. Having faced this very same question about 12 to 14 years ago, I feel I may have something fruitful to offer. Let's take a step back for a moment. At some point in our lives, we all need to make a decision about what we want to do with our lives. We must recognize that this is a huge question and requires deep thought to derive an answer. We should also consider that at 15 to 17 years of age, we don't have all the answers. Frankly speaking, at 28 (turning 29 in a few months), I too am still figuring out life. It's a journey, not the destination. NOW, this presents a challenge. The world and all its weight are expecting us, mere teenagers, to make a life-changing decision when we don't have a clue what the world is like and where we want to be in this world. So, what should we do? Panic? Nah. We take a deep breath and think it th
