Title Design Tweak

After analyzing our current title design and I wanted make some tweaks to make it more attractive and more better.

Changing the color of the title screen.
The colour below is to dull and blends into the environment. The goal was to make the title pop out. So I decided to ask the team to tweak the color. Make it more bright.

Now the title words are more bright and will pop out.

Changing the Badge of the title screen.
I looked at the badge and feel it does not fit in the world. It looks too childish and the badge does have much detail. So I ask the team to change it.

The change to me made more nicer. More real. And fits with the design of the car.

Change from rendering the title in the game to putting in in Post-Production.
Our current test shows that when render in game. It looks nice but towards the right side of the image near the badge feels blur. The title needs to be seen clearly, thus I decided to change in and ask the team to put in post.

The title render in game looks nice and will interact with environment. [ Will interact with the wind and sand ]. However the smudge effect will show imperfection and distract the viewers of the other aspect of the title screen.
Now the title screen will look something like this. We can see the words easily.

As we head towards the new year, it poises us an excellent opportunity to reflect on the past year. As we reflect, we have 2 ways to go about it: Glass half empty or half full. Circling back to earlier in the year, I gave a Lunch & Learn session on "Clues to a more fulfilling work-life", where the core of the message was finding meaning in our work as when one find meaning/purpose, the work(action of doing) becomes more fulfilling, leading to greater satisfaction in life. Now it's time to see the 2nd part of the equation: contentment/achievement. Fulfilment is all about the action, while ach...

What it takes to make a Title & Credit Screen

Title Screen Should be done in a way to sell the idea of story or more importantly establish the mood, feel and pace of the story. Eg. Credit Screen I Credit screen as 2 things. There is one version where it is to allow the audience to absorb the story and its conclusion. An epic story that is told beautifully takes a good amount time to comprehend and swallow. Eg. After watching this 2 video above we can see that we need a few amount of time to stretch and realign ourself as our epic journey with the story comes to end. Therefore, playing the screen credits will allow us to recover from experience. There a credit screen's where audiences wants to find out what will happen now. After the story is over, the character got what he wanted all is well, we still want to see what happen to rest a...

The original idea for the disclaimer is to be a classic Disclaimer. Example can be seen below.
